Online Japanese JLPT N5 Course
Build a confident Japanese foundation from the first character to your first everyday conversation.
Find the right level for your goals. SajiloBhasa brings online Japanese live classes in Nepal, structured JLPT courses from N5, and practical conversation practice together so learners can ask questions and build confidence in real time.

Taught live, in a fixed order, by a teacher who answers you. Nothing here is a pre-recorded video you watch alone. Classes run at fixed times in small groups, with the same instructor every week, so what you have understood is checked rather than assumed, and what you have not is caught in the room.

Pre-built course structures that work alongside your career goals, with shared real-time interaction, structured grammar, and context from actual workplaces, so you are ready to go on day one.

Build a confident Japanese foundation from the first character to your first everyday conversation.

Expand your foundation into smooth everyday Japanese with stronger grammar, kanji, and listening skills.

Bridge beginner Japanese and real intermediate fluency for work, travel, and longer conversations.
Some of them sat down and recorded it. Some of them wrote a line after class. Either way, these are people who started where you are.

I had tried two apps before this and never got past the alphabet. Being asked a question out loud every week is what actually made it stick.
The class is small enough that you cannot hide in it, which sounds frightening and turned out to be the whole point.
You can study for a year and still be refused. Japan’s Immigration Services Agency does not count the hours you put in. It reads the certificate you hold, at the level the visa asks for.
To study at a language school that means JLPT N5, or 150 hours of class a school can sign for. Hours you studied alone do not count. To work on a Specified Skilled Worker visa it means JLPT N4 or JFT-Basic, and a skills test for your trade. Care work asks for one more.
In Nepal there is one place to sit it. The JLPT is run here by the Japanese Language Teachers’ Association, Nepal, JALTAN, which the Japan Foundation lists as the country’s only host institution, and Kathmandu is the only test city. It is held twice a year, in July and December, and registration closes months before the paper.
Every course here is built backwards from one of those exams.
Most institutes sell a course and stop at the last class, which leaves the hardest part to you. We start by working out which certificate your plan needs and at what level, then work backwards from the July and December dates to a sitting you can realistically reach. When the JALTAN registration window opens we walk you through it: the form, the photograph, the documents, the fee, the deadline. Then where in Kathmandu you sit it, what to bring, what the result means for your route and which level comes next. Nobody should finish a course here still wondering how to get the certificate.
Korea works the same way Japan does, with different paper. Nobody is asked how long they studied, only which exam they passed. For a job that is EPS-TOPIK, sat through the EPS Korea Section of the Department of Foreign Employment in announced windows. For a classroom it is TOPIK, applied for through the Korean embassy in Kathmandu, where a degree taught in Korean generally starts at level 3.
Korean is not open yet. It is the next language we are building, and the people who tell us they want it are how we decide when. When it opens it will run the way Japanese does here, exam date first and the paperwork walked through.
Ask about course levels, cohort dates, or teaching with us. A person reads every message.
Tell us your level and what you want Japanese for, and we will point you to the right course.
Send us a messageYes. SajiloBhasa (सजिलो भाषा) is the same platform however it is spelled: an online language learning platform for learners in Nepal, at sajilobhasa.com, made by Yamison. Japanese is our focus right now, with more languages to follow.
Yes. Every class is live and online, so you can join from anywhere in Nepal. Courses follow the JLPT levels starting at N5, with fees in Nepali rupees and payment by eSewa or connectIPS.
Start with the N5 course, which assumes no experience at all. If you have studied before and are not sure of your level, book a free trial class and we will place you.
Live. Each course runs as a small cohort with one instructor, at a fixed time every week, on Zoom or Google Meet. You have the same instructor from the first class to the last.
Recordings are included, so you can catch up on anything you missed, and you can ask about it in your cohort group before the next class.
Yes. Every cohort has its own WhatsApp group for class links, schedule updates and questions between lessons.
Online at checkout, with eSewa or connectIPS. Your seat in the cohort is confirmed once the payment is verified.
It depends on when you ask relative to the cohort's first class. The details are in our refund policy.
Japanese is open now. Korean, French and Spanish are next, and they open as we find the instructors to teach them. See languages.
We are adding cohorts faster than we are adding instructors. If you teach Japanese, Korean, French or Spanish - at any level from a first alphabet to exam preparation - we would like to hear from you.
